Howell “Huck” Montgomery
Huck has worked as a political campaign and government relations professional since 2007. An alumni of the 2008 Obama campaign, Huck has served in senior roles on New Hampshire campaigns at the federal, state, and municipal levels. Huck is an expert in campaign strategy, message development, operational infrastructure development, fundraising, media and press relations, data analysis, and field.
Huck founded GraniteRoots Public solutions in 2013 to provide campaign and government relations solutions for clients including labor unions, advocacy groups, and candidates.
Alan started volunteering on New Hampshire political campaigns in his home town of Bedford, New Hampshire at the age of 16 for the Howard Dean campaign. He served as a staff assistant to Senator Jeanne Shaheen in her Manchester office. After sitting for the Massachusetts Bar Examination, Alan managed the successful reelection campaign of New Hampshire State Senator Bette Lasky.
He brings a substantial number of contacts and relationships that he established during his time campaigning in New Hampshire. He helped found the Nashua Labor Coalition, an organization of local labor groups.
Alan is a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the state of New Hampshire.
